Swanland Nurseries & Dutch Imports
We are pleased to announce that we are now agents for Dutch Imports and Daughters Ltd a family run business who have been trading in Hull for over 20 years. The company specialises in garden ornaments large and small and have some really wonderful and unusual items available to enhance your garden and home.
As an agent we are able to order items for customers direct with the company as well as having a varied range of garden ware in stock at the nurseries. Customers are welcome to view the Dutch Imports website and if something catches your eye, just give us a call and we will order it for you.
Bedding Plug Plants & Baskets
The Summer bedding season is getting underway at the nursery. Plug plants
for baskets and containers are available to purchase and should be kept
in a heated greenhouse or on a windowsill until the frosts have gone.
Orders are being taken now for Summer hanging baskets, hayracks and patio tubs.
If you have any empty baskets in the greenhouse, bring them along and we will
be happy to refill them for you for Summer.
The Greatest Garden Awards
We are very proud to announce that we made it through to the final of the Greatest Garden Centre Awards. As one of 5 finalists for our category in the east region, John and Shirley were invited to attend the award ceremony on 10th January. Although we didn't win the top award we are all still extremely proud of our achievement and are hoping to do even better at the 2010 awards! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us. Look out for the voting slips in November 2010!!
