DELIVERY
Unless we hold stocks, plants are rooted to order, and
take six weeks to reach the right stage of growth. We
reserve the right to substitute carefully chosen plants
of equal value. Prices include VAT at the current rate
of 17.5%. In the event of a change in VAT or any other
exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to revise
prices.
PLANTS
Rooted plants are grown in peat pots and sent by 1st
class Letter Post. On receipt pot into 9cm pots without
disturbing the container – this is biodegradable
and will dissolve into the compost.
PLEASE NOTE: Our responsibility
for plants ends after 10 days from receipt of order.
We will replace any plants damaged during transit free
of charge. BUT IF YOU EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS OR DO NOT
RECEIVE YOUR PLANT, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH. Please also
note we cannot be responsible for unopened parcels;
or plants received at the delivery address in your absence
if we have not been notified of same. If you wish to
cancel after ordering, please confirm this IN WRITING
(many thanks). Please notify both Swanland Nurseries
and the Post Office if you experience any problems.
In the event of a complaint please return box and contents
for replacement or refund.
OVERSEAS DESPATCH (EU ONLY)
Plants are sent Air Freight. UK postage rates do not
apply. Please check with us for details of carriage
costs and any official paperwork necessary.
UK POSTAGE AND PACKING CHARGES
These are based on current rates and are subject to
change at the Post Office's discretion.
PAYMENT WITH ORDER
All orders must be paid for in full at the time of the
order being placed. If sending your order by post please
enclose a cheque made payable to 'Swanland Nurseries
Ltd'. We also accept payment by postal order or credit/debit
card. All orders must be paid for in sterling. Placing
an order constitutes acceptance of Swanland Nurseries'
terms and conditions of sale.
DATA PROTECTION ACT
We are obliged under the above Act to advise you that
we have your name and address recorded on computer.
If you wish to see the records we hold please send £2.00
for same. If you do NOT wish to receive further mailings
from us, please email us. Your details are only held
for the purposes given here.
